How the machine works
The screw feeder type 230 is a vertical screw feeder that is used as a multiple feeder due to its compact design, but can also be used as a simplex feeder.
Each feeder has its own drive motor.
There are 2 variants available here:
- Three-phase motor with frequency control
- Servo motor with servo controller
The power supply and control is provided either from a central control cabinet of the packaging machine or from a control cabinet assigned to the respective dosing unit.
The screw dimensions are determined by the filling quantity, product properties, bag size and the required output.
Screws can be easily replaced by standardizing the holder.
When used in a packaging machine, dosing can take place both into a filling tube and directly into the bag.
