How the machine works
The auger dosing unit type SD-330 is a vertically operating auger dosing unit for dosing powders and granulates (also poorly flowing and dusty).
The dosing unit is driven by an electric motor, the drive shaft of which is directly connected to the dosing screw as an extension, and an agitator is also driven by this main shaft via a reduction gearbox, which ensures that the dosing screw is filled evenly. The variable speed of the drive as well as the start and stop process are achieved by a speed control unit. The dosing quantity results from: “Gang volume” times the number of screw revolutions per dosing process. The screw revolutions are freely adjustable.
The dosing unit is equipped with a “cross screw” that conveys the product from a product feed or a storage container into the dosing hopper, thus decoupling the filling process from product fluctuations in the storage area. The filling level in the dosing hopper is kept constant by a level detection system.
