Mr. Eckhard Merz founded the family company initially as a design office named Kob\u00fc Merz in the year 1971.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 1979, Kob\u00fc MERZ became Merz Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH, which Mr. Eckhard Merz successfully managed together with his wife Maria for over 50 years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2002 Mr. Bernd Kirchhof was appointed as the third managing director and formed part of the management until 2016.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The 2nd generation of the family company is represented by Mr. Holger Merz who manages the company with more than 100 highly qualified employees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Our service includes the development, design, manufacturing and sale of packaging machines and special machines \/ constructions for Stickpacks (small tubular bags) and 3-\/4-side sealed bags.\nOur customers are placed in the tobacco \/ pharmaceutical \/ cosmetics \/ food and chemicals industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
